STRANGE'S FILM AND VIDEO There is quite an extensive amount of film and video that exists of the group from 1993 to 1994. Fortunately for the universe it only exists in the hands of Eric and Corey. The video was shot as Strange's, the films were film school projects of Corey's that featured members of the group. VIDEO STRANGE'S : BORDER COLLIES - (Video 1) Home video shot by Greg and Eric, Just a collection of sketches with a loose thread provided mostly by props. Includes: CAT LOVE, DOCTOR'S BOOK OF HOME REMEDIES, PHARMECUTICALS, BESSIE THE COW, BARRY NEWTON INTERVIEW, THE TRAFFIC CHANNEL, NAPTIME, EXPLOSIVE CONDOMS STRANGE'S : HELLO DALI - (Video 2) Almost a complete running narrative. Dan and Greg are trapped on a large hill. When flagging down a commercial airliner doesn't work they decide to play hide and seek. Dan falls off a cliff and lands, strangely enough, on a car in the parking lot at Toys 'R Us. Meanwhile Eric searches for his friends. While searching he falls down a hill. But the shots no good. He's told he must fall again. And Again. Different hill. Try it again. Eric finally rebels and charges the director only to fall down the hill. The "episode" ends with Greg interviewing Dan Neid - Keeper of Goats and his favored satanic goat Monsabelius. Greg is then made to fall down a hill. STRANGE'S : CAMERA FEAR This video again is a complete running narrative. A camera man is shooting Eric on a sunny autumn day when Eric snaps and attacks the camera man. Over and over. Finally chasing the cameraman (Corey) through the wilderness and killing him. THE LOST VIDEOS Eric, Greg and Michelle also did a couple of videos for high school classes. The first of which was Michelle's stunning comparison of toilet papers. Greg's video compared plastic wraps and included him suffocating Eric to show the wraps strength. There is also a long interview sketch where Corey discusses the epic period piece SHE'S TIGHT amongst other things. CELLULOID THE LAUGHTER OF SOLACE -(B/W, Silent) Directed by Corey Witte. Story by Witte/Schwartz. Richard Solace (Schwartz) is a stand up comedian who has returned to do a series of hometown gigs. Charming and delightful on stage, Richard is horrible to his mother (Mrs. Witte), who he is staying with during the visit. Finally, fed up with Richard's verbal abuse, she throws him out the night of the last gig. Later on stage, Richard realizes that his mother isn't there and he bombs. A desperate man, crashing and burning on stage. LEARNING TO FLY - (B/W, Silent) Written and Directed by Corey Witte. Eric is terrified of flying. Often times he wakes screaming from dreams of planes. When Ken finds a coupon for free flying lessons we taunts Eric into going. Eric kisses Michelle goodbye and they're off. It's bad enough that Eric is scared of the plane ride but the pilot (Dave Gill) is drinking and smoking a fatty. When the plane starts to go down (but recovers) Eric finally discovers the thrill of flying while Ken is emotionally damaged and vomits. SPARE CHANGE (Color, Music only) Directed by Corey Witte. Story by Witte, Schwartz and Neid. Music provided by Terry Witte. Who killed him (Corbyn Kern)? Was it Dan whose wife (Jen Wehrs) he has been boffing and fathering children with? Was it Eric who he fired and taunted after Eric came out of the closet to him. Was it Ken who's sack of coke he dumped into the toilet? Suspicion hangs heavy in the air after the funeral when Eric, Dan and Ken grotesquely eat PBJ sandwiches in the church parking lot. Knowing eyes. Dark thoughts. And finally a thousand yard stare that reveals the truth.
