A NOTE FROM
CRAPPING BADGER
PRESIDENT,
STEVE LORD

What is a record company? Some would say it is a company that makes records, and that would be true. Well, all right, it's actually NOT true, because most of them don't make records anymore, just tapes and CDs and maybe a few mini-discs. And some of them make those special edition pressings for some albums. Those are kind of cool, actually. Have you ever seen them? But I digress.

A record company is more than just a physical place that makes records. It is a gathering spot for artists , a compendium, a forum, a sort of cultural ashram that welcomes creativity, from the staid to the way out. Crapping Badger hopes to be just that. The mission of this company is to encourage creativity and shed light on messages, no matter how strange they may be. That accounts for the mixture of artists you will see on this site and roaming the halls of our offices and studios. Well, I won't let them wander - I don't want them to wander. It makes the secretaries nervous. They should have a reason to be there, I guess, even if it's just to shoot the proverbial feces with fellow artists.

Anyway, some would say a record company is way to "get" chicks, and that would be true, too. Well, at least I think so. Hasn't worked yet, but, hey, you got president of a record company on your business card, and that is a one-way ticket to babe heaven. But I digress.

Whatever a record company is, enjoy this one. It's the only one I have, and while it may not seem like much of one to you, you're here, so, check it out. By the way, in answer to the number one question I get, no, there is no actual crap or any badgers involved.
