After the break up of  Sudden Dancer, Neid and Schwartz were looking for another musical
outlet. This came in the form of Gary Lent and Dave "Elmer" Hruskoci. Gary and Dave had been jamming for weeks looking for a second guitar and bass. The 4 got together and the synergy was instant.  The group dubbed themselves Sonic Scarecrow and after a month shot a short video for Naperville cable. Not long after that slow boiling tensions between Dan and Eric came to a head and Eric left the group to hook up with Mike Vertenten again. The group changed their name to Margaret's Car , replaced Eric with Mr. Steve  and played a series of nights at Loyola University in Chicago. Neid, unhappy with how things in the band were going left in early 1992. All recorded tracks are in the hands of Crapping Badger now. Dan has also let his willingness to burn the Naperville video be known.
