Albums (all out of print):
BN&TP was a music project that lasted from 1988 to 1991. It was strange, free form, mildly funny and ambitious. It can best be described as psychedelic folk/joke rock. Seven albums were produced and distributed amongst high school friends on cassette. While the albums are not currently available, there's quite a few mp3s in circulation.

Our love of the (often strange) sound effects LPs of the 50's, 60's and 70's gave birth to this project in the mid-90's. We work on this album a little every once in a while. It's a labor of love but it does mean that the album will probably be released around 2018. In the meantime, enjoy a sampling of 20 of these little gems.
I like to tell stories - from the tragic to the lighthearted. From the deeply personal to the external - I try them all. Deep down I'm a rocker, but a lot of my stuff is acoustic, but I don't limit myself to that. Sometimes a song is better served with loops and sequencers - it just depends. So, check the stuff out. Hope you like it.
Listen to Schwartz tracks:
JACK started in 1994 as a 6 piece group called Rain Session, w/ Dan Neid on bass, Eric Schwartz on guitar, Mike Vertenten on guitar, Linne Coursey on piano, Deric Perry (recently of Gertrude ) on drums and Anne Malatesta on lead vocals. The latter three had all left by June 1994 and Dan, Mike and Eric (now on drums) continued on and JACK was born. The group dissolved in 1996. While they never played out, they left behind countless hours of basement tapes.
