Kiss the Sky is a new/used record store in a strip mall. On weekend nights they host rock acts on the stage that lines the back of the store. One night in June of 99, it was ours. We had just released IT'S A SICK WORLD, BETTY and Kiss The Sky was carrying it, so we got a gig. The show was all music and I think it's the only show of the tour Mo did. Mo never really cared for the all music shows, since she had only one song. I can't blame her. This show was totally for us. Because there was almost no one else. A few people would come and hang but then go back to scouring the racks for used copies of Strawberry Alarmclock. Behind the stage the wall is covered with video screens. We thought it would be fun to have us playing on the wall behind us, so we set up a camera and did the "Diamond Vision" thing. The funniest part is that there was no where in front of us to put the camera. So the screens showed our asses during the whole first set. When Steve's camera ran out, (and it had to be recording to transmit to the TV) we played back the video from the first set during the second set, so it never synched up. It was a fucking riot and I still laugh out loud to this day and what it must have looked like. I do remember the employees enjoying us. OH! And during our set some guy went over to the listening station and started listening to our album. HAHAHA Instead of us live! (Wipe tear) Good times. Steve is currently booking us in there again. - Eric ********************
