Here is what some very kind people are saying about BIG CITY! (and a million thank yous to those who took the time to look in and say what you thought.)

"I went and had a look. It's obvious that you're putting a lot of energy and enthusiasm into this, one of the big new good ideas of the web. I hope that it's a success and grows into something huge. Thanks for thinking of me. Cheers."

- Paul Cornell - Novelist and writer for the new Doctor Who (Debuting in 2005)

"Very ambitious, and professional-looking. Now you need to find a way to film it (don't we all)."

Alan Dean Foster - World Reknown Sci-Fi/Fantasy author. Visit his website

"...very well-written...carry on."

Gene Brewer - Author of K-PAX

"In the Big City, you'll find crime and corruption, not to mention race riots between Elves and Dwarfs. You see, BC is basically Lord of the Rings-meets-every-single-cop-show imaginable, and revolves around five hard-bitten characters: detective Adam "Stack Fury" Forray, PI Robert "Smiles" Johnson, Stack?s partner John "Needless Action" D'yen, Smiles' operative Charlie Pickens, and Charlie's love interest journalist Laura Medrano.

The stories are episodic in nature and use the different races, such as humans, elves and goblins, to put a spin on issues and events -- for example, there's an echo of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict within the longstanding Elf and Goblin feud. It's this link that makes the stories believable and, more important, a fun read."

He also runs his own webseries: Ravenshill. Check it out.

"Big City defies categorization by merging fantasy with crime drama, and does so with a powerful narrative voice, well-defined characterizations and a dark sense of humor. You'll suspend your disbelief thanks to the producers' skills in creating a uniquely colorful world."
Kira - Editor EpiGuide.com

"Awesome, simply awesome...! I loved the characters, they were very colorful, and you managed to pack a lot of imagery in your scenes without making them overly verbose. As a result, your story had a wonderful pace and kept me riveted thoughout. I also liked the fact that it had several plot twists-- everytime I thought I had figured out the ending, you proved me wrong in the next section! That doesn't commonly happen anymore in fiction, either offline or on!

This is easily professional-quality work.  It felt like something that would work well as a high-tension TV series, except that TV studios tend to water down stuff like this until it sucks.  Keep me posted when you get new episodes and if the quality remains as high as this last one, you should consider getting them collected together and published; it's certainly of professional quality!  Heck, I've been waiting for ANYTHING original in the fantasy genre for years, and this is certainly refreshing!

Good luck with the new episodes!"

Thanks greatly!
