WHAT IS BOUNDARY WATERS MEDIA? - BWM is the production company set up by Chicago area comedy group Gag Reflex. Created to produce and distribute the group's work and the work of individual members and friends. I guess...think Grateful Dead Records or Apple Corp. A place where we can work to develop projects, promote current projects and distribute older work.

IS BWM A REAL COMPANY? - Well that's a matter of perspective. We'd like to think so. Legally no. We are not yet incorporated or a partnership or even a LLC. We currently make no real money.

YOU GUYS SEEM A LITTLE LOOSE WITH THE LANGUAGE (ADULT LANGUAGE AND CONTENT). - That's not a question, but we will address it all the same. Yes we are. The internet is a censorship free zone and we pray it stays that way. Between runko's foul mouth and some of the Gag Reflex scripts, there is a good deal of strong language. BWM is by adults for adults. Most of the content would pass as PG-13 or R. There is no porn or extreme violence. Personally, we wouldn't suggest that this site be viewed by younger viewers. However, we will not change our content because some of them might stumble across. You will notice there is also a good deal of intelligent language, art, humor and music here as well. If you don't like it, fuck off.

CAN ANYBODY USE THE CHAT ROOM AND WHAT'S A DOODLE PAGE? - Yes. Absolutely anybody can simply register and use the chatroom for free. Enjoy yourself. We will also announce any special chat sessions with Gag etc. The doodle page is another way for the BWM community to hang out on line. This is a shared white board where multiple users can draw or type in real time. It's very like the Windows Paint program, except other users can see what you're drawing. Again, this is a totally free service from BWM.

OKAY! HOLD IT! WHERE DOES THE REALITY END AND THE FANTASY BEGIN ON THIS SITE? - That would be telling. There is a lot of bull interwoven with truth and half truths. It's hard to tell the difference sometimes. Suffice it to say, in Boundaryland all things are possible. We don't always let people in on the joke because we want BWM to be a total entertainment experience. You're going to have to work it out for yourselves. We will say that if you order anything with a credit card...IT IS FOR REAL.

HOW OFTEN IS BWM UPDATED? - The site is updated quite often. Several times a week at least. You can always find out what's new on the WHAT'S NEW section of the main page. The webmaster is fanatical about new content and current information. Our suggestion is, check back every few days.

WHY DOES GAG POST ON SO MANY MP3 SITES? - Gag Reflex believes that putting free mp3s on as many mp3 sites as possible is like touring. Since many mp3 sites have regular visitors (usually other artists) we feel that to grow, we need to get exposed to those different pockets. Most people who have heard us on Mp3.com don't go and listen to us on Soundclick or IUMA. We have to grow and maintain different fans in all those areas. Many other artists are doing the same thing. Plus many mp3 sites give us more exposure in other countries. We're still waiting for a Japan tour. That would be so cool....

AREN'T MP3s ILLEGAL? - No. Mp3s are moveable computer files, usually music. They are not illegal. Unfortunately you have been brainwashed by the technologically challenged media and the RIAA's unfortunate scare tactics involving file sharing. There are millions and millions of mp3s online, created by the artists as a way to distribute their work. We don't support or approve of pirated online music...but we won't lie and say we've never done it. For that we are sorry. The best way to avoid file sharing trouble is to not do it and download only music that has been posted deliberately. There are millions of songs (from known and unknown artists) just waiting for your harddrive.

IS STEVE LORD REALLY THAT HORNY? - Shit yeah! In fact in order to keep this site off the radar of things like Net Nanny and Cyber Sitter we've had to tone down what he's really like.

WHO IS STEVE LORD? - Steve with Dale Roe founded Gag Reflex in 1993. He created Boundary Waters with Eric and Dale in 2000. He is also the President of Crapping Badger Records (which is so named because he went to Eric and said "I've always wanted to have a record company called Crapping Badger Records). The InfoWeb is maintained by e and Boundary Waters Media. It is a warehouse of information, scripts, links and such. Aimed at press and fanatical fans (if there ever are any).

HOW MANY PERSONALITIES CAN ERIC HAVE? - I think WE will field that question. Ehem... Life is a stage. You must play several roles to maximize stage time. Was that deep or what? What are we talking about? Seek and ye shall find.

DOES CRAPPING BADGER RECORDS OR E-SUPER TAKE OUTSIDE SUBMISSIONS? - Sure, but realize this; you can do this too. Most all of our promotion and online distibution stuff is done through free web services. Mp3.com, cafepress.com, Live365, Adobe... all of these services are at your disposal. We'd love to help people in the same situations we are, but it's not hard to do it yourself. The internet has provided a stage for any artist in the world who is looking. Enjoy.
